In 2020, we learned one important thing. We need to nurture our local community. We must count on one another in a tough time. During COVID, only the giant stores were open. It’s not fair that only Walmart, Superstore or Costco could make money. And the small businesses and farmers couldn’t. Unless they had a way to reach the public directly for safe delivery or pickup.
Thank goodness the Internet brings us together. Now, we’re able to connect Calgary area businesses and buyers together directly. We want to help supply high quality bulk-sized foods for online retail. Also, at excellent prices, since that’s why bulk is great. We feel we have a duty to keep local producers of food in business. But also, we want it to be affordable and easy for consumers. It’s a win-win for our entire community.
