Here We Grow supports local Calgary & area businesses that grow, produce, and source food. 

We retail online bulk-size high quality local Calgary foods from local growers and producers. We also offer specialty imports from local businesses.

Why buy local Calgary food?

In the last year, we learned one important thing. We need to nurture our local community. We must count on one another in a tough time. In March and April 2020, only the giant stores were open. It’s not fair that only Walmart, Superstore or Costco could make money. And the small businesses and farmers couldn’t. Unless they had a way to reach the public directly for safe delivery or pickup.

Thank goodness the Internet brings us together. Now, we’re able to connect Calgary area businesses and buyers together directly. We want to help supply high quality bulk-sized foods for online retail. Also, at excellent prices, since that’s why bulk is great. We feel we have a duty to keep local producers of food in business. But also, we want it to be affordable and easy for consumers. It’s a win-win for our entire community.

As a result, we give you our wholesale prices for local Calgary foods. And we deliver to your door in Calgary, Airdrie, Bearspaw, Cochrane, Priddis, and Okotoks and other areas surrounding Calgary. For deliveries to other towns & cities, please call or write to make arrangements. We are easy to reach and want to help you buy from us easily.

How it works…it’s simple and affordable.

• Here We Grow services the Calgary area. (So for example if you’re in BC but cannot make a local pickup, call us to sort things out)
• Flat fee $7.50 per order for delivery in Calgary.
• For Airdrie, Bearspaw, Cochrane, Priddis & Okotoks, $10.
• Outside this area, local pickup is welcome at no charge. (Storage fee is $5/day per order if you miss the pick up day.) You can pickup from our homes in either Midnapore, Calgary or Airdrie, Alberta.
• Orders are delivered every Wednesday, with cut off for orders the previous Friday.
